stupid-fast, zero-bullshit tools for people who hate bloat more than Mondays.
We're the open-source crew that got completely fed up watching "tools" slowly turn into telemetry monsters wrapped in Electron and venture-capital exit fantasies.
So we started aysdog. We ship the leanest, meanest, fastest open-source tools developers actually want — built by people who still lose sleep over a single unnecessary dependency.
live, beta, and in the oven:
single-file binaries
just drop it and run. no npm circus, no multi-stage Docker nonsense, no runtime to install. copy the binary to any machine and it works. that's the whole deployment story.
zero dependencies
musl-static whenever we can get away with it. pure stdlib where possible. we lose sleep over a single unnecessary import. the fewer moving parts, the less that breaks at 2am.
zero telemetry
we genuinely don't want to know you exist. no analytics, no error reporting, no "anonymous usage stats" that aren't really anonymous. if a tool ever phoned home we'd consider it broken.
zero Electron
minimal interface when needed, native everything where possible. we will not ship a 200MB app that's secretly a browser running a React app to display three buttons. if you have to point a gun at us, we'll talk.
self-hostable forever
your laptop, a random $5 VPS, your homelab, an air-gapped server in a bunker — all valid. we will never build a tool that requires our infrastructure to function. clone the repo and run it yourself. that's a hard requirement, not a feature.
"Tooling sucks. I'd rather aysdog suffer instead of me. Wanted invisible, zero-drama tools. Got invisible, zero-drama tools. Users somehow haven't revolted. Wild."
